Shenandoah Alley formed in 2012 while lifelong-friends awaited the mayan apocalypse and blew their savings on bluegrass instruments. Over the next 18 months they played 150 shows and developed a hard-driving grungegrass style inspired by the stunning natural beauty and bluegrass traditions of their Allegheny homeland.
